Testriding
At Cycle Science, we encourage you to test ride the bikes we have for you - here's why
There's lots of bikes around, a dazzling variety of styles, brands, types etc. There's claims by manufacturers of ride quality, of ride 'feel', of stability, handling characteristics, and there's lots of different prices to pay for bicycles that on the surface, look quite similar.
How do you tell what's the right bike for you? Ride it! From an entry level mountain bike like a Trek 3700 or a quality urban bike like a Trek 7.2FX, or a roady like a Cannondale Synapse or Trek Madone, how do you know if the marketing meets reality? There's only one way, and that is to ride the bikes. Not a scoot around the inside of a shop, you want a good 15 minutes or more over different terrain, up hills, down hills, rough roads, smooth roads, you name it... You wouldn't buy a car without a test drive, and we believe the same should hold for bicycles.
We're confident that if you ride the bikes we stock, you'll like them, or at least, you'll understand what we're saying when we say that the bikes we choose to carry ride better than the competition. Don't take our word for it, ride them and know for yourself.
